Oopsie!

So, um, please excuse my tardiness as I'm a little late on my blog posts...

Into to Web Technology has been an interesting class so far. I have learnt some wonderful and quirky things about the web.  The most interesting thing I have seen in this subject so far has been when Peter showed the class all the locations that are visited, just to get to a single website. I always thought that when you go to a website, you just go to that website.

In last week's tutorial I rather enjoyed playing around with html, it took me back to the days when I was sixteen and addicted to MySpace. I wanted a cool page that was unique, so I taught myself a little html to achieve my goal. It feels good to be going to familiar territory in a subject where I feel like I am learning a foreign language.

But despite my nervousness towards this subject, this morning's lecture left me feeling pretty excited about the assignments because it's rare for students to get a project where we can be completely creative and have few restrictions. I don't have any ideas on what my theme or subject will be yet, but it will come to me... actually scratch that, a website dedicated to my dogs sounds good. It will defiantly be the cutest website handed in! it can be called www.bonnieandchubbthecutestdogsintheworld.com.

Okay, I guess I'll think about it a little more, but that reminds me. I really enjoyed the lecture on domain names and found it really interesting. It reminded me of when I was younger and wanted to look on the channel ten website, I forgot the .au and I ended up on a porn site. Since then I have never forgotten the .au when going to channel ten. It makes me think a little now when I type in a website wrong and go to some weird page. I wonder if the people who buy them are being clever or if it was just a coincidence.

This blog entry needs to end now, because I am bidding on a pair of shoes and that requires my full attention.

Peace out xx
